How do I prepare my 3-Month lenses for wear?Updated 5 days ago

If you would like to wear your coloured lenses in the next 8 hours, it is best to start your prep ASAP.

1. Open the free contact lens case provided by Dimple in your order, OR any other preferred contact lens case you may have. Make sure it is clean, and then fill each container with your chosen multi-purpose contact lens solution.

2. Open the 3-month Dimple vials containing your contact lenses. We have a video on how to do this here. 

3. Take the lenses out of the vials and place one lens in each side of the contact lens container. If you have a different script for each eye, be sure to put the correct script in the left and right side of the container as marked. If you have the same script for both eyes, this does not matter.

4. Close the contact lens case and allow your lenses to soak for 6 hours. This step removes the preservatives that were used in the vials to keep your lenses fresh and clean. A lot of wearers also report this helps make the lenses feel more comfortable once in the eye as a result.

5. Once the 6 hours is up, using clean hands free from water, you can take out each lens and place it in the correct eye. For more information on how to do this, visit our article How do I wear coloured contact lenses?
